Art on Target is please to present Visions and Voices, an exhibition by Monde Goniwe, Phillip Mboniswa and Christo Booth.

More about the artists

Siyabonga Phillip Mboniswa aims to challenge societal norms, spark conversations, and celebrate the beauty of everyday life through his works by blending traditional techniques with modern themes. Phillip worked on group mural projects, including for ArtEC Gallery and the Soccer World Cup in 2010. His preferred media vary from pen and ink on paper, pencil, acrylics and Adobe Photoshop.

Monde Goniwe’s work ranges from intricate pen drawings to surreal abstract pieces created through collage and digital manipulation, reflecting a variety of themes from personal experiences to social commentary as he explores different mediums to develop his unique artistic voice. He achieved a degree in B-Tech Fine Art majoring in Print Making Illustration at NMMU in 2010.

Christo Booth finds inspiration from science-fiction, weaving themes of space travel, time travel, robots, etc. into his mixed-media artworks. He achieved a National Diploma in Fine Art, Printmaking III, majoring in Illustration at NMMU School of Music Art & Design in 2008 and has over fifteen years of experience as a practicing artist.
